Abstract: The greenhouse effect is likely to result in changes in regional climate and weather patterns and local weather disturbances, resulting in health problems related to heat stress, natural weather disasters, changes in vector distribution and consequently infectious disease endemicity, unreliable crop production, and social disruptions leading to violent behavior and stress on the health care system.
