CAPE is actively working to educate the public and decision-makers about the health and climate concerns that can be associated with the extraction of natural gas using hydraulic fracturing or “fracking”. In the past, CAPE members raised the alarm about health impacts being experienced by residents downwind and downstream from tarsands in Alberta.
