Governance

Over the last two years, the CAPE Board has reviewed and updated its governance documents. The new bylaws are attached below along with the Membership Policy and the Policy on Advocacy Activities.

Under the new policies, CAPE has two types of members:

Supporting members are those who support the organization with donations, follow our work, and/or sign on to petitions on occasion. Anyone can be a supporting member of CAPE.

Active members, who want to engage directly in CAPE campaigns, must have expertise in environmental health, ecosystem health, or public health, expertise in environmental issues, and share the values of CAPE. To become an active member of CAPE, individuals must apply to the Board. Those interested in becoming active members should contact send an e-mail to info@cape.ca.
