COP30 MEDIA ADVISORY

FOR RELEASE – November 7, 2025

The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) will attend COP30 in Belém from November 11 to 20. Five CAPE physicians will be joining health professionals from around the world united in calling for a full fossil fuel phaseout, and they will be there to urge Canada to meet and strengthen its own climate commitments, and to remind decision-makers that rolling back environmental policies directly endangers people’s health.
